MUD came about when the design team at Very Handsome Studio wanted a unique and challenging project that could only come around once in a blue moon. We asked questions, pulled concepts from hats and pieced together the most interesting design prompt. Can we create a creative pottery space in the same sanctuary as a tranquil and relaxing spa? We put our design skills to the test and the conceptualization of MUD was born. The overall environment of MUD takes on adobe-esque vibes mixed with a neutral palette where meditation was present and bright, metallic finishes where creativity needs to sparkle. These contrasting characteristics are tied together through flowing, organic forms throughout, making the space unified without feeling dull. Would you visit a space like this?
